Flew just ok today. Not stellar. I had a solid sortie overall, including an ILS to a low approach and ASR to a touch and go, but my two ELPs were trashy and I was struggling with the crosswind controls.
After flying today, we got a tour of RAPCON, radar approach control, all the people we talk to everyday, but never see.
What's an ASR?
ReplyDeleteNice you got to meet the tower population. Wish I could give them all a batch of c-chip cookies. =)
Prayers are going up for you big time. XO
Thank you so much. An ASR is a radar approach where you have someone telling you to turn left or right to line you up on runway centerline while you're trying to land in the weather.
